CATHIE
VAN DER STEL

Born in Australia, Cathie van der Stel has spent most of her adult life in England and Holland. Since 2001 she has been living and working permanently in the South of France.

Her career as an artist begun in the textile industry where she focused on layout and design.

Now a full-time artist, Cathie specializes in portraits, architectural renderings and natural scenery. She has attended extracurricular art training at the Academie Superieure des beaux-arts in Grasse and she is a member of an ever-evolving group of artists “the Aquarellista’s” in Chateauneuf de Grasse.
